Almost since it was born, Izharia Engineering has developed many international projects in Latin America, in countries like Peru, Panama, Colombia,… With the objective of providing a better service to its current customers, and adding new functionalities, Izharia has decided to start new delegations in Colombia and Panama, two of the countries with more demand in 2015. The objective is that, both for technical and commercial issues, these offices make easier to successfully finish the works in course and future customers’ awards. New commercial delegations are expected to be fully operational by earlier July. These are the first international delegations of Izharia, but not the last. South America is a big market with an enormous growth potential and the portfolio of electrical works is growing daily, so Izharia is studying to expand its presence in the American continent with new openings in countries like Mexico or Chile over year 2016.  

Civil Engineer by Cantabria University, specialised in Structures, Luis Alberto San Román faces the challenge of boosting Izharia’s Civil Works department. Luis Alberto has more than 20 years of experience in works execution areas, adding a great capacity for the application of theoretical knowledge and business management. Expert in project design and Civil Works management, in the fields of, among others, roads, railways, hydraulic works, water treatment facilities, energy facilities or buildings. Luis Alberto will contribute with a wide technical experience in calculation and design of all types of structures, in Geotechnics and Underground Works, in works direction and in project management. We are sure that for all these reasons, added to his management skills backed by his career in different positions in Technical Direction and Business Management will provide responses to functional and service necessities of our customers in Civil Works area.
