Al Rajef Wind Farm 86,1 Mw in Jordan.

For which Izharia Engineering intervened decisively in the development of the wind farm project

At the end of 2017, Izharia Engineering completed the Detailed Engineering for the construction of the Al Rajef 33/132 kV Substation and the Medium Voltage Collector Circuit that allows the evacuation of the total power of Al Rajef Wind Farm in Jordan.

This contract reached with ELECNOR, in a consortium with Gamesa, for Green Watts Renewable Energy Company LLC, a 100% subsidiary of Alcazar Energy, involves the installation of 41 G114-2.1 MW wind turbines in the Al Rajef wind farm, as well as the construction of all the necessary interconnection infrastructure for the installation and operation of the project, for which Izharia Engineering intervened decisively in the development of the engineering of both the substation belonging to the park and the medium voltage collector system thereof for the evacuation of the entire of its power.

The 86.1 MW project located in southern Jordan is under construction near the town of Al Rajef, in the Al-Petra district, approximately 42 km northwest of the city of Ma’an. In which Izharia Engineering is still collaborating under the modality of Technical Office.

The $ 186.4m Project is the first major wind project to be developed in Jordan under its new renewable energy program, which will produce enough energy to power around 60,000 homes in Jordan
