Izharia Engineering is carrying out the development of Complete Engineering works (Basic, Electromechanics, Civil and P & C) of the extension of an outdoor position type capacitor bank 6 MVAr of the 115 / 34.5 kV Substation La Arena, located in Herrera, Panama.

The work has been commissioned by Natural Gas Fenosa through its participation in its electricity distributors (Edemet and Edechi) in Panama and it is part of the contract with GNF Panama to provide engineering services for the Panamanian high voltage network upgrade.

The repowering of the substation will improve the Arena voltage levels and provide greater stability in service to users.
